Two killed, 10 hurt in bus-tractor trolley collision

BAREILLY: Anoop Yaday, 32, and his friend Vicky Kumar, 28, were killed and 10 others injured on Saturday evening after the tractor-trolley they were travelling in collided with a private bus on Dhaneta-Shishgarh road under jurisdiction of Shishgarh police station.
Shishgarh SHO Shyam Singh said, “The victims, both labourers, were residents of Padtapur village under Milak police station in Rampur district.They were on their way home after finishing their work in the tractor-trolley when the vehicle collided with a speeding private bus. Ten passengers also sustained injuries in the accident, and the drivers of both vehicles absconded. We rushed the injured to a private hospital, where both labours succumbed. We also impounded the bus,” Singh told.
On the complaint of deceased’s kin, an FIR was lodged against both drivers under sections 279 (rash driving), 304A (causing death by negligence) of IPC, Singh added.
